Zama Ngwane is a Research Analyst in Standard Bank’s Global Research team. Her analysis focuses on the African political economy landscape. She is an experienced foreign policy analyst with 7-years’ experience in South African Foreign Policy, specifically South Africa-Southern Africa relations and South Africa-United States relations. She has also served as a diplomat in South Africa’s Embassy in Washington, DC. Zama has a Master’s in International Relations (with distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand, where her research focused on democratization and development in Africa. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French at Rhodes University.
